Events to keep you fit during the Winter months!
The Winter Series, just like the Summer Series is made up of a variety events where you can earn points in a season-long competition. The big difference is that there are a number of external events (this year there are are 9) that you need to pre-register for prior to taking part. Links to the sites where you can registration for each of the races are available on the series schedule.
We join in with events like cross-country races, cyclocross, road running and trail running. As is true for all our activities, they are suited to the whole spectrum of abilities. Come to race hard or just have some pleasant, gentle exercise. Try some types of events you’ve never done before.
The scoring is pretty simple, your best 8 out of 20 events (if you do the aquathon both the swim and run will be added together to give your final time) .
1 point for 1st, 2 points for 2nd etc, for Male and Female
