Club News and Results - Summer 2010

September 4th and 5th: Open Water Swimming at Pugneys has been cancelled. Sorry, but due to the high number of members and committee doing Vitruvian and Helvellyn and concerns about being able to run the session safely, we will not be running an Open Water Swim session on that weekend.

August 18-23: Beverley, National Club Relay Championships, Stockton Triathlon Festival, Summer Series #17.

 

August 7-15: Outlaw Triathlon and Swim, London Triathlon and Wakefield Hill Climb and Summer Series #16.

 

July 24 - August 1: Ironman events, Alpe D'Huez, Blithfield Triathlon and more.

 

July 17-25: Heathersage, Northumberland, London Hyde Park and more.

 

July 10th: NYP Black Sheep Ripon Triathlon (very popular with this club).

 

July 8-11: Llandudno and Wakefield Summer Series #12.

 

Open Water Swimming has begun

Wakefield Triathlon Club runs an open water swim session every Saturday and Sunday morning at Pugney's Country Park. If you are interested in trying it out, you can come along and buy a day membership for £5 (deductible from full membership if you join).

Summer Series dates announced

The Club's own Summer Series of events at Pugney's Country Park has begun. Find the the list of events here.

 

Results will be published during the season and there will also be info on the Calendar, Forum and Facebook pages so get involved. Giddyup!
