Swim For All
Thanks from Wakefield Council

The Jane Tomlinson Swim For All was a hugely successful event, providing ordinary people with a challenge to swim in the open water over 1500m. Wakefield Council has sent a letter of thanks to our coaching coordinator, Greg Parkin for our input in the Jane Tomlinson Swim For All.

Greg was proud that the club was recognised in this way: "the friendly, helpful, cheerful nature of our club in and out of the water is the most impressive part of the club."

Well done to all our club members, new and old, who got behind the event. Everyone worked very hard at our Open Water Swim sessions to make sure that everyone felt welcome and as comfortable as possible.

A big thank you to everyone who took part in the swim and still did their swim after so much training and fundraising. We hope to be able to do something bigger and better next year, so stay tuned for that.
